Fairmont State wasn't ready for the massive swarm that the Yellow Jackets put on and just 79 seconds after the second half began, Herold fired a free kick shot past everyone and buried it in the bottom left corner while every Falcon defender just stood and stared hopelessly. Paula Herold, Emma Farrelly, Maxima Bellscheidt, Billie Jean Davies, and Sandra Linares all started the second half in leiu of Cierra Savin, Montserrat Alsina, Delaney Day, Juliana Campos Lima, and Karem Rodrigues. The second half saw several substitutes for State. Fairmont State would sneak one past Galindo in the 34th minute, snapping the shutout streak at 339 minutes without a goal being scored by a Yellow Jacket opponent. Head Coach Lisa Mann started most of the seniors to be honored in the first half. Fairmont State picked up their fourth draw of the season and goes to 9-2-4, 9-2-3 in conference play. State remains undefeated at 14-0-2, 12-0-2 in the conference. The Jackets fell behind late in the first half, scored two consecutive goals, then allowed a late equalizer on a scrum in front of the goal. 18 West Virginia State took the field for the final regular season match at home against the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons, hoping for a victory, but the two teams battled to a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
